I like this image. I am a huge fan if history and I think it depicts the days events in an excellent way. Just a suggestion but maybe in the circle itself list the ships destroyed like the USS Arizona and all the others. Other than that it is a great image!
I like the overall design, but the main problem is you have the design with complete balance at the center of the artwork. This leaves your eyes only to focus on the center and not all around the objects. My suggestion would be to split everything up and make a unique design which goes with the rule of thirds. If you do this then the project will be much better, I am sure.
Your design is easy to "follow"; my eyes move through the design from top to bottom. I feel your design looks like it is shaped like the front of a ship, and I agree with Rob. Maybe you should have the circle have be made of of words, but maybe that would be too much...I like your design, tho. Good job!
I really like how your design makes a mushroom cloud effect, as obviously pearl harbor is known for explosions. the design looks very professional and kind of reminds me of some kind of patch a soldier would have on his or her suit. not sure if you were aiming for that, but it works that way for me! but i am having some trouble locating your focal point.
I really like your design, it looks like an explosion which ties in with the theme. and to me it kind of looks like some kind of patch a surviving soldier would put on his or her jacket for honor. not sure if you aimed for that but i liked it! having some trouble though determining your focal point
Anyway, what I like about this design is that it is really simple. Which is good cause it decreases the chance of being too busy. Also, I happen to agree with Rob in the sense you should add a few ship names to your design. Just be carefull not to put to many as it will distract the viewer from the main vocal point. Which, like billy said, isn't very obvious.
